Douglas L. Miller, President

With 39 years experience, Doug has extensive knowledge in all facets of the real estate industry. He is involved with his team in all aspects for the on-boarding of new facility contracts, as well as oversite of the day to day management requirements and issues that may arise. This extends to contract reviews, budgets, monthly financial analysis and major policy decisions. See Doug’s Bio for more information.

Nicholas Riley, Vice President and General Manager of Key Center

Nick is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations of the property, including accounting, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, security, and more, with responsibility for the overall financial performance of the property. Nick also provides owners oversight over the Marriott Hotel management team.

Nick is a native of New York and began his career in hospitality management working at the Starwood Hotels, eventually opening and managing boutique properties at Viceroy, Morgans, and Sixty Hotels. He was the General Manager of 30 Rockefeller Plaza and surrounding buildings, managing NBC’s headquarters, where shows such as Saturday Night Live, the Today Show, and the Tonight Show are produced. Additional key tenants included Deloitte, Christies Auction House, and Simon and Shuster. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University.

David Pavlik, Chief Engineer, Millennia Commercial Group, Ltd.

David is a graduate of The West Side Institute of Technology Building Engineer Program. David has been an active member of BOMA Cleveland since 2007 and holds the SMA professional designation. David is a 25-year member of the Key Tower team beginning with The Jacobs Group and now The Millennia Commercial Group and was promoted to Chief Building Engineer in 2021.

David’s duties include overseeing a staff of 12 engineers, implementing the building equipment maintenance program, construction landlord review, annual budget operation, and overseeing contractor projects. David also has some prior experience in retail, where he learned such values of punctuality, and client relations.

Michael Slater, Director of Engineering, Key Center

Michael Slater brings over 27 years of experience in large-scale facility service and maintenance, with a diverse background spanning commercial buildings, college campuses, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and airports. For the past 12 years, he has held leadership roles focused on driving culture change and modernizing operational processes.

Previously, Michael served as a Regional Director, where he established operations across multiple states and led the design and implementation of complex technical systems. He also served as Manager of Asset Management and Life Safety Systems at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, where he developed a comprehensive asset management program while successfully overhauling critical life safety systems.

Michael holds a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology and a vocational certificate in Industrial Electronics. He also maintains numerous industry certifications that support his ability to make informed decisions and continuously enhance the Class A experience at Key Center.

Eric Turner, Director of Operations

Eric D. Turner is a seasoned property management professional with expertise in Class A commercial, owner-occupied, and mixed-use properties. As Director of Operations for Millennia Commercial Group, LLC, he oversees tenant relations, contract management, budgeting, procurement, maintenance, and security operations.

Eric has extensive experience managing commercial, municipal, state, and federally regulated programs, with a focus on airfield compliance, building maintenance, CMMS administration, custodial services, budgeting, project management, and hospitality operations.

Previously, he served as Director of Facilities for JACK Entertainment and Deputy Commissioner for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, where he helped secure over $30 million in grants and led the airport to earn recognition as the “Most Improved Airport” in its classification. He also managed 3.5 million square feet across four state office towers as General Manager for the Ohio Building Authority and held leadership roles at OfficeMax and Envirotest (Ohio E-Check Program).

Educated at St. Peter Chanel High School and Kent State University, Eric has earned multiple management certifications. He is a proud father of two daughters, grandfather of two, and an avid Cleveland sports fan.

Christopher A. Yarian, Controller

Chris is the Controller of the Millennia Commercial Group and is responsible for the financial reporting of Key Tower, the Marriott Hotel, Ascend Fitness and Spa at Key Center, and The Centennial and Thornburg Square properties. He is responsible for the day to day accounting activities as well as the monthly and year end financial statement reporting to ownership and investors.

Prior to joining MCG, Chris was with the public accounting firm Deloitte and then was the Regional Controller of DDR Corporation overseeing a portfolio of 350 properties.

He is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.

 

Joshua Rhodes, Director of Security, Key Center

Joshua Rhodes has been with Millennia Commercial Group since September 2025 and oversees the Security department at Key Center.

Joshua began his career as a Public Safety Officer and First Responder and gained additional medical experience as a Certified Healthcare Professional in Birmingham, England. Once stateside, Joshua became the Security Supervisor for the 30/20 Hudson Yards in New York City, overseeing all security and safety functions for the campus. He then moved into a National Accounts role and oversaw security throughout the East Coast, Midwest, and Southeast for critical infrastructure, focusing on process improvements, federal compliance and documentation, and contract renovations to create a higher level of service based on client needs.

In addition to security, Joshua has worked as an Emergency Management Specialist and has received multiple certifications through the Federal Emergency Management Agency, focusing on inter-agency communication, effective deployment strategies, and outbreak containment.

He is a graduate of Spring Arbor University, MI and is proud to call Cleveland his home for the past five years, even though he still roots for Detroit sports.
