Douglas L. Miller

Douglas L. Miller is the President of Millennia Commercial Group which is the wholly owned subsidiary of The Millennia Companies. He is responsible for all aspects of property management, leasing, and financial reporting for the Millennia office and mixed-use properties, which includes the world class Key Center complex consisting of the 57-story office tower, the 400 room Marriott Hotel and the 982 car garage. He has been involved with Key Tower and the Hotel since its opening in 1991 under the original developer, the Richard E. Jacobs Group. Doug is the former President and CEO of the Jacobs Group which had a portfolio of over 40 million sq. ft. of hotel, office and retail properties.

Throughout his career, he’s overseen new developments, sales, property management, and lease transactions, totaling over $2 billion. Notably, he managed leasing and renewals for over 1.5 million sq. ft. at Key Tower. He played a key role in creating the 650-acre Chagrin Highlands Corporate Park on Cleveland’s east side, home to 950,000 sq. ft. of offices, including Eaton Corp complex, Omnova Corp. World Headquarters, University Hospital’s Ahuja Hospital and Health Campus, three hotels, and 250,000 sq. ft. of retail space. He directed the 638,000 sq. ft. Eaton Corporation complex, overseeing its design, construction, and property management. Additionally, he spearheaded the 400+ acre Avon mixed-use park in Ohio with the Cleveland Clinic Richard E. Jacobs Health campus, and a growing retail market featuring notable brands like Cabela’s, Duluth Trading, and Menard’s.

Doug is a graduate of Cleveland State University, with a major in accounting, and has a law degree from Cleveland Marshall School of Law. He is a member of the Ohio Bar, a licensed real estate agent, and past chairman of the Downtown Cleveland Alliance and the Downtown Cleveland Improvement Corp.
