Service Coordinator Amber Aden at Carbondale Towers is on a mission to bridge the digital divide within the apartment community. She is partnering with PCs for People and enlisting support of others to provide seniors and those with disabilities with access to low-cost internet service and technology such as hotspots and laptops.

This connectivity is critical, but even more so during a pandemic when public health measures that increase social isolation are in place. Residents look forward to the opportunity to virtually connect with family and friends, medical providers, and online resources.

Amber speaks with WSIL Channel 3 about the program here.
