As Regional Vice President of Operations, Thomas maintains his responsibilities as the Lead Business Strategist and Asset Manager, but also facilitates market-rate acquisition strategies, implements enterprise-wide building and portfolio automation initiatives, and oversees operations for 24 apartment communities and 3,027 multifamily units across Ohio, encompassing luxury, market-rate, and affordable housing opportunities.<\/p>\n
Thomas brings an innovative and passionate mindset to this role. Thomas’ strategic leadership will support the company in finding solutions to challenges and seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the portfolio, departments, and company.<\/p>\n
Most recently, Thomas developed strategies to guide brand development across the dynamic group of companies and throughout the diverse portfolio of properties. As Lead Business Strategist, he assessed leasing and marketing activities and strengthened these efforts to support the asset managing of the portfolio. Through his efforts, Thomas ensured the apartment developments and company were branded and positioned to maximize company awareness and attain budgeted occupancy.<\/p>\n
As Vice President of Operations, Thomas will continue to analyze the market to identify new opportunities, propose new design concepts to achieve company goals, and develop new ventures for revenue generation. Additional responsibilities include facilitating purchasing and procurement strategies and managing national vendor relations.<\/p>\n
Previously with Millennia Housing Management, Ltd., Thomas served as the Property Manager at The Garfield in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. There, he employed his extensive experience in customer service, operations, management, and marketing to facilitate the successful lease-up of the property, increasing occupancy from less than half-full to 97 percent. Prior to his time in property management, Thomas was instrumental in the opening and development of the dining establishment, Il Venetian; here, he successfully established a distinct addition to Savour Hospitality Group’s portfolio.<\/p>\n
Thomas has overseen Il Venetian operations since its inception and is most proud of the establishment’s relationship-oriented leadership and teamwork-driven culture. His passions for improving workplace culture and teambuilding will be instrumental to his efforts at Millennia.<\/p>\n
