Valerie Jerome has more than fifteen years of experience in marketing and communications, serving mission-driven organizations in both the non-profit and public sectors. As Director of Marketing and Communications at The Millennia Companies\u00ae (Millennia), Valerie directs all internal and external communications, public relations, and marketing initiatives. She also plays a key role in liaising with stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Valerie\u2019s leadership activities include serving on the board of an international non-profit organization, co-founding a civic engagement group in her community and volunteering as part of the local public-school district\u2019s mentoring program. To increase her capacity to lead, she completed the Cleveland Leadership Center\u2019s Bridge Builders program and the Neighborhood Leadership Development Program. Additionally, Valerie worked in the community and youth development sector as a United States Peace Corps in the Commonwealth of Dominica. She authored a children\u2019s book and earned a bachelor\u2019s in science in journalism from Ohio University.<\/p>\n
