Alan Weckerly

As Executive Vice President of Millennia Housing Management, Ltd., Alan Weckerly assists in directing property operations, improving operational efficiencies, achieving organizational goals and ensuring high-quality standards are applied across Millennia Housing Management Ltd.’s housing portfolio, which consists of more than 275 multifamily residential communities in 26 states.

Alan has been with the company since 2004; from 2010 to 2014, he led the management company and, through efficient operations, positioned the enterprise as best-in-class. Alan has a proven record of consistently demonstrating a commitment to Millennia’s residents and staff. In his most recent role as Vice President of Operations, Alan and his team streamlined processes and improved operational efficiencies in revenue management, oversaw the supportive services team and operations, and facilitated the 504/Reasonable Accommodation process, in addition to assuming responsibility for a robust portfolio of apartment developments.

Alan represents Millennia in leadership capacities within industry organizations, including serving as President of Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association (MAHMA) and Liaison to National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA). Alan has earned a National Affordable Housing Professional – Executive Level (NAHP-e) designation from NAHMA; the Certified Property Manager® designation from Institute of Real Estate Management; and he is a member of the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association (NOAA). Additionally, Alan is a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). Alan has a bachelor’s in science in Light Building Construction and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Also, Alan is an active distance runner.
