Rep. Al Lawson of North Florida's 5th District visits Eureka Gardens, expresses delight

U.S. Congressman Al Lawson (FL-5) visited Eureka Gardens on Monday, February 20, 2017 to meet with management and residents now that Millennia has assumed management of Eureka Gardens effective February 1, 2017.  During his visit, Congressman Lawson expressed his delight at seeing immediate improvements to the property since his last visit in 2016, including newer playground equipment for the children, landscaping, and the correction of health and safety issues.  Congressman Lawson met with residents who expressed their positive feedback at Millennia’s performance thus far.  The Congressman encouraged residents to continue working with Millennia as it makes progress in transforming the property and expressed his commitment to advocate for resources for HUD subsidized programs that would benefit residents at Eureka Gardens.
